Bible Verses about 'Thou'

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.”
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.
For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.
Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.
A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night. For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours.
Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.
Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings.Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise.
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.
Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.
For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver. You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver.
‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother. Love your neighbor as yourself.
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”For the commandments say, “You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not covet.” These—and other such commandments—are summed up in this one commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?
But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him.
You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
