Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been engaged to Joseph, but before they lived together, she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. By faith he received power of procreation, even though he was too old—and Sarah herself was barren—because he considered him faithful who had promised. What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.” Romans 7:7	Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.” sin law desires
For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith. 1 John 5:4	For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. faith God overcoming
God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9	God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus calling reliability
Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the sabbath day. When you make a vow to God, do not delay fulfilling it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Fulfill what you vow. Ecclesiastes 5:4	When you make a promise to God, don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him. promises reliability obedience
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23	The faithful love of the Lord never ends! Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am first, and will be with the last. Isaiah 41:4	Who has done such mighty deeds, summoning each new generation from the beginning of time? It is I, the Lord, the First and the Last. I alone am he. God strength
Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear to my cry; do not hold your peace at my tears. For I am your passing guest, an alien, like all my forebears. Psalm 39:12	Hear my prayer, O Lord! Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.
