| And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” | And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. |
| Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. | For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. |

He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him. | So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. |
| Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased. | Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. |
| The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer him sacrifices. | To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. |
| Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. | Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. |
| Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. | And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. |
| For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. | For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. |
| I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’ | And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? |
| But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? | For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? |
| And the Lord our God commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear him so he can continue to bless us and preserve our lives, as he has done to this day. | And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. |
| I will hurry, without delay, to obey your commands. | I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments. |
| Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. | Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. |

| Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? | And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? |
| Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. | Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. |
| But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those who obey his commandments! | But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. |
| And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. | And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. |
| The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. | The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. |
| See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. | See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. |
| Slaves must always obey their masters and do their best to please them. They must not talk back or steal, but must show themselves to be entirely trustworthy and good. Then they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive in every way. | Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. |
