Water to drink (3/4)

Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose.Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
He will judge everyone according to what they have done.Who will render to every man according to his deeds.
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.
How much better to get wisdom than gold, and good judgment than silver! How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit.Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul. But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
“Listen,” he said, “we’re going up to Jerusalem, where the Son of Man will be betrayed to the leading priests and the teachers of religious law. They will sentence him to die. Then they will hand him over to the Romans to be mocked, flogged with a whip, and crucified. But on the third day he will be raised from the dead.”Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness. Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
Don’t trap yourself by making a rash promise to God and only later counting the cost.It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will praise my God to my last breath!I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them.Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Return to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Unfailing love, O Lord, is yours. Surely you repay all people according to what they have done. Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
