Whatsoever (2/4)

The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.
Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.Abba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not what I want, but what you want.
Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?With the Lord on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me?
For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life?
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.Do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness?
And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? Now who will harm you if you are eager to do what is good?
What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?
What is desired in a man is kindness, And a poor man is better than a liar. What is desirable in a person is loyalty, and it is better to be poor than a liar.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. So that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints.
But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life?
So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! What then? Should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. But test everything; hold fast to what is good; abstain from every form of evil.
Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.I am coming soon; hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with him.
In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I am not afraid; what can flesh do to me?

And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
