| For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there will also be disharmony and every type of wickedness. | For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. |

| Such godly sorrow results in repentance that leads to salvation and causes no regret, whereas worldly sorrow produces death. | For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. |

| A good man produces good from the store of goodness in his heart, whereas an evil man produces evil from the store of evil within him.
