Whosoever (2/2)

Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!
Happy are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord.Blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the Law of the Lord.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I am not afraid; what can flesh do to me?In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen for His own inheritance.
One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and one whose temper is controlled than one who captures a city. One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And one who rules his spirit, than one who captures a city.
But you, O Bethlehem of Ephrathah, who are one of the little clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to rule in Israel, whose origin is from of old, from ancient days. But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will come forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His times of coming forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity.
For thus says the high and lofty one who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with those who are contrite and humble in spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite. For this is what the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, says: “I dwell in a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite.”
Now if you are unwilling to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served in the region beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. They shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream. It shall not fear when heat comes, and its leaves shall stay green; in the year of drought it is not anxious, and it does not cease to bear fruit.Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water That extends its roots by a stream, And does not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought, Nor cease to yield fruit.
