| But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to make this freewill offering? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you. | But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? | Those who are wise understand these things; those who are discerning know them. | As for you, the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and so you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, abide in him. | As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him. |
| Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be known in all the earth. | Sing to Yahweh, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth! |
| If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. | If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. |
| Do all things without murmuring and arguing, so that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine like stars in the world. | If any of you sin without knowing it, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, you have incurred guilt, and are subject to punishment. | If anyone sins, doing any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, though he didn’t know it, he is still guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. |

| But as for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine. | But say the things which fit sound doctrine. |
| He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? | He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? |
| But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness. | But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. |
| So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! | Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. |
