| The hope of the righteous will be gladness, But the expectation of the wicked will perish. | The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. |

Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.” | “If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not resolved to honor me.” |
| For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. | For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more. |
| I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. | And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. |
| And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts. | I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. |
| For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. | For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. |
