Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
“For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live!”For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.Rend your heart and not your garments. Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance.Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.
And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.
Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.

Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.
