The wise in heart will receive commands, But a prating fool will fall. | The wise are glad to be instructed, but babbling fools fall flat on their faces. |
He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. | He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. |

The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. | The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. |
For with God nothing will be impossible. | For the word of God will never fail. |
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. | The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” |
For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. | The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. |
He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. | If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it. |
He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed. | Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble. |

Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase. | Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time. |
I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations. | I will thank you, Lord, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations. |
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. | Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. |
The hope of the righteous will be gladness, But the expectation of the wicked will perish. | The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing. |
