So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
A generous person will be enriched, and one who gives water will get water.A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
But those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
The wise of heart will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin.The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.
The hand of the diligent will rule, while the lazy will be put to forced labor.Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.
The angel said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be holy; he will be called Son of God.”The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”
When the Lord your God has blessed you, as he promised you, you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, to be with you forever.And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.
For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.
Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
For nothing will be impossible with God.For no word from God will ever fail.
I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
Those who keep the commandment will live; those who are heedless of their ways will die.Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life, but whoever shows contempt for their ways will die.
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being.I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
A person's pride will bring humiliation, but one who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit gain honor.
I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
Nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known.There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
Wealth hastily gotten will dwindle, but those who gather little by little will increase it.Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.
She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Give heed to my reproof; I will pour out my thoughts to you; I will make my words known to you.Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings.
The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore.The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
