- For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you cover them with favor as with a shield. - With the loyal you show yourself loyal;
with the blameless you show yourself blameless. - It is you who light my lamp;

- I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - A generous person will be enriched,
and one who gives water will get water. - But those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.

- The wise of heart will heed commandments,
but a babbling fool will come to ruin. - The hand of the diligent will rule,

- I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - Those who keep the commandment will live;
those who are heedless of their ways will die. - I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being. - A person's pride will bring humiliation,
but one who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor. - I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.
- Nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known.
- Wealth hastily gotten will dwindle,
but those who gather little by little will increase it. - She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
- I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
