If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father. |
He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us. | Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us. |

In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? | I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? |
If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. | But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! |

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. | A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else!
