For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.”
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.
And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.Repent and turn from all your transgressions, lest iniquity be your ruin.
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
