You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.Those of you who seek to be justified by the Law have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from grace.
See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Rather, always aim to achieve what is best for each other and for everyone.
And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after.When you look at the tassels, you will remember the commandments of the Lord and keep them. Thus you will not prostitute yourselves by following after the lusts in your own heart or your own eyes.
Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.Therefore, rid yourselves of everything sordid and of every wicked excess, and welcome in all humility the word that is implanted in you and is able to save your souls.
Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise.
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.Brethren, if anyone is detected committing a transgression, you who are spiritual must set him right in a spirit of gentleness. Meanwhile, you should take care so that you yourselves are not tempted.

Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of your opportunity. Eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.Make every possible effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.Therefore, my beloved brethren, stand firm and immovable, devoting yourselves completely to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.If it seems wrong to you to serve the Lord, then today you must choose whom you will serve, whether it be the gods that your fathers served on the other side of the river, or the gods of the Amorites who dwell in the land. Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life.Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may show yourselves blameless and beyond reproach, children of God without spot in the midst of an evil and depraved generation, among which you shine like lights in the world as you hold fast tenaciously to the word of life.
By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.The end of all things is near. Therefore, lead disciplined lives and be watchful in prayer.

Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.Do not seek to adorn yourself externally—by the braiding of your hair and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothing. Rather, let your adornment be of your inner self, the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.Remain sober and alert, for your enemy the devil is on the prowl like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
