| He is not here. He has been raised. | For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall also be united with him in his resurrection. | The end of all things is near. Therefore, lead disciplined lives and be watchful in prayer. | But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. |

| What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |
| In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me. | In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. |
| Finally, find your strength in the Lord and in his mighty power. | Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. |
| He made him who did not know sin to be sin for our sake, so that through him we might become the righteousness of God. | For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. |
| Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but the woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. | Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. |
| Do not let anyone lead you astray. “Bad company corrupts good morals.” | Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. |
