And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”And said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me; for the least among all of you is the greatest.”
Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.Who are you to pass judgment on servants of another? It is before their own lord that they stand or fall. And they will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved by him, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly explaining the word of truth.
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more eager to confirm your call and election, for if you do this, you will never stumble. For in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you.
Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, for you are receiving the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. No one who conceals transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.I lift up my eyes to the hills— from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you.
But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the advantage you get is sanctification. The end is eternal life.
For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. For the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died. And he died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them.
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.
Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.Let it be known to you therefore, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you; by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation, who consoles us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction with the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God.
“If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name,” Says the Lord of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.”If you will not listen, if you will not lay it to heart to give glory to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse on you and I will curse your blessings; indeed I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.
