Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. 1 John 4:1	Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. trust Spirit prophecy
But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me. Psalm 13:5-6	But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me. trust worship heart
So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. 1 Peter 1:13	Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. grace Jesus Spirit

I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches. Psalm 119:14	In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. law money joy
But in your great mercy, you did not destroy them completely or abandon them forever. What a gracious and merciful God you are! Nehemiah 9:31	Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God. grace mercy nearness

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12	Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. faith love life
Do not deprive each other of sexual relations, unless you both agree to refrain from sexual intimacy for a limited time so you can give yourselves more completely to prayer. Afterward, you should come together again so that Satan won’t be able to tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 1 Corinthians 7:5	Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. marriage devil self-control

So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. Matthew 24:26-27	So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good. Deuteronomy 8:5	Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the Lord your God disciplines you. Father learning punishment
You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. Psalm 16:11	You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. joy life nearness
Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city. Proverbs 16:32	Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. peace patience self-control
For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours. Psalm 90:4	For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night. God life understanding

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
