Remember your Creator in the days of your youth before the bad times come and the years draw near when you will say, “I take no pleasure in them”. The love of the Lord is never exhausted, nor do his deeds of mercy ever come to an end. They are renewed every morning; his faithfulness never ceases. Yet even so, because of your great compassion, you did not completely destroy them, nor did you forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God. Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with a joy that is indescribable and glorious. For you are achieving the goal of your faith, that is, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:8-9	You love him even though you have never seen him. God saved us and called us to a life of holiness, not because of our works but according to his own purpose and the grace that has been bestowed upon us in Christ Jesus from all eternity. 2 Timothy 1:9	For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. However, the wisdom that comes from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, and considerate, full of mercy and good fruits, without any trace of partiality or hypocrisy. James 3:17	But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. I press on toward the finishing line to win the heavenly prize to which God has called me in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14	I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. reward Jesus calling
For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope. Jeremiah 29:11	“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” planning blessing hope
Just as he came forth naked from his mother’s womb, so shall he depart, naked as he came, with nothing remaining from his labor that he can carry away in his hands. Ecclesiastes 5:14	We all come to the end of our lives as naked and empty-handed as on the day we were born. We can’t take our riches with us. greed materialism heaven
Be mindful, O Lord, that mercy and kindness have been yours from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my many transgressions, but remember me in your kindness, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord. Psalm 25:6-7	Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past. Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Therefore, prepare your minds for action. Be calm and fix your hopes completely on the grace that you will be granted at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:13	So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:23	For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Everyone who sins comes from the devil, for the devil has been a sinner from the very beginning. The Son of God appeared for this very purpose: to destroy the work of the devil. 1 John 3:8	But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. To him who in all things is able through the power that is at work within us to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus through all generations, forever and ever. I ask that from the riches of his glory he may grant through his Spirit that you be strengthened with power in your inner being and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Ephesians 3:16-17a	I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him.
