Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them. | They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them. |
I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me? | See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me? |
I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life. | I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life. |
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. | But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. |
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe. | I will both lie down and sleep in peace; for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety. |
That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” | Yet even now, says the Lord, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. |
Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” | Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” |
