| Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” | Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. |
| And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” | Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. |

| But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. | But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. |

| Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. | Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. |

| Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. | Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. |

| Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? | Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? |
| I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life. | I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me. |
