| The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer him sacrifices. | To do righteousness and justice Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. |

| Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. | Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. | And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. | “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. |
| But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me. | But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me. |
| Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord! | Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! |
