For, “The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. He must turn away from evil and do good; He must seek peace and pursue it.”For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it.Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
How much more valuable then is a person than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
If I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
A good name is to be more desired than great wealth; Favor is better than silver and gold.A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
Seek good and not evil, so that you may live; And so may the Lord God of armies be with you, Just as you have said!Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down, But a good word makes it glad.Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people.”And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.
Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine. For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
Looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
No one is to seek his own advantage, but rather that of his neighbor.Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.

For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
