And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.And having been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor detest His correction; For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.My child, do not despise the Lord's discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves the one he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.
Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends.One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.
Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.”
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.
For the Lord is our Judge, The Lord is our Lawgiver, The Lord is our King; He will save us.For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our ruler, the Lord is our king; he will save us.
And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.”
Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed.
