Him (3/4)

The one who eats everything must not look contemptuously on the one who does not, and the one who abstains must not pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed both.Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
For it is in him that the entire fullness of deity dwells in bodily form, and you share this fullness in him who is the head of every ruler and power. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.
The Lord is good, an unfailing refuge in a time of distress. He takes care of those who place their trust in him.The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we can approach God with confidence and receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do whatever is pleasing to him.Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
No, throughout all these things we are conquerors because of him who loved us.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above all other names, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth.Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
I can do all things in him who strengthens me.I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask him, we may be sure that all we ask of him will be ours. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
For it has been granted you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him.For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the presbyters of the Church so that they may pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
After he said this, he was lifted up as they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
But when the disciples saw him walking on the water they thought it was a ghost and they cried out, for they all had seen him and were terrified. But immediately he spoke to them, saying, “Have courage! It is I! Do not be afraid!”But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.
All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us.And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but in order that the world might be saved through him.For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
For ‘In him we live and move and have our being.’ As even your own poets have said, ‘We are all his offspring.’For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
And if one should fall, his companion will help him up. How pathetic is the man who is alone and falls and has no one to assist him to his feet. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
Above his head was inscribed the charge against him: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.
The way of God is blameless, and the Lord’s promise proves true; he is a shield to all who flee to him for safety. As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
The way of God is blameless; the Lord’s promise has proved true. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him.As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
Then Peter addressed them: “I now understand how true it is that God has no favorites, but that in every nation all those who fear God and do what is right are acceptable to him.”Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall also be united with him in his resurrection. We know that our old self was crucified with him, so that our sinful body might be destroyed and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe in him already stands condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And thus we can have confidence in him that if we ask anything that is in accordance with his will, he hears us.And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
