| There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. | With his mouth the godless man destroys his neighbor, but the righteous will be delivered through knowledge. | With his mouth the godless man seeks to ruin his neighbor, but knowledge enables the righteous to be delivered. |
| Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up. | Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up. |

| Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace. | The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord shine his face upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace. |
| Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry. | The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry. |
| For I command you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it. | If you obey the command that I give you today, to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in his ways, and to observe his commandments, statutes, and decrees, then you will live and multiply, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess. |

| A wise son makes a glad father; but a foolish son brings grief to his mother. | A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son gives grief to his mother. |
| She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins. | She will give birth to a son, and you shall name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. |
| If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you. | If you listen to the voice of the Lord, your God, and you do what is right in his sight, if you listen to his ordinances and observe all of his laws, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you. |
| The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; those who are guided by it will grow in understanding. His praise will last forever. |
| Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever. | Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his mercy endures forever. |
