Behold, we are now going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death. Then they will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and scourged and crucified, and on the third day he will be raised to life.Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
God said, “Let there be light!” And there was light.And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
You shall serve the Lord, your God. He will bless your bread and water and take away sickness from your midst.And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Do the things that you have learned, received, and heard from me and that you saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
However, those who want riches fall into temptations and are trapped into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction.But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Speak out and pronounce righteous judgments; defend the rights of the wretched and the poor.Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after he had pronounced the blessing, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take this and eat; this is my body.”And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there will also be disharmony and every type of wickedness.For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and undefiled is this: to come to the aid of orphans and widows in their hardships and to keep oneself untarnished by the world.Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayers.And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.”And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
And now, what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name.And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
The prudent man perceives danger and seeks shelter, while the simple continue forward and pay the penalty.A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he set me free from all my fears.I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
For: “If anyone wishes to love life and to experience good days, he must restrain his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. He must turn away from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.”For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, himself a man.For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
