Does it now appear to you that I am trying to gain the approval of human beings rather than the approval of God? Am I seeking to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.Am I now seeking human approval, or God's approval? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still pleasing people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a contrite and humble heart, O God, you will not spurn.The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God.I the Lord am your God; follow my statutes, and be careful to observe my ordinances, and hallow my sabbaths that they may be a sign between me and you, so that you may know that I the Lord am your God.
I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back because I have taken pity on them, and they will be as though I had never cast them off; for I am the Lord, their God, and I will answer them.I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. If someone says, “I love God,” but at the same time hates his brother, he is a liar. My deliverance and my glory depend on God; he is my mighty rock and my refuge.On God rests my deliverance and my honor; my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.
In that way, I can come to you in joy, if God so wills, and be refreshed together with you.So that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.
If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart.I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.
God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.No one, when tempted, should say, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil and he himself tempts no one.
