Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not my own; rather, it comes from him who sent me.”
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.Who indeed conquers the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.No trial has confronted you except what a person can stand. God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tried beyond your strength. But together with the trial he will also provide a way out and the strength to bear it.

If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.God abides in anyone who acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, and that person abides in God.
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”
And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.And every tongue should proclaim to the glory of God the Father: Jesus Christ is Lord.
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, himself a man.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.You shall keep these things that I command you today in your heart. Teach them to your children. You shall talk of them when you are sitting in your home, and when you are walking along the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.I press on toward the finishing line to win the heavenly prize to which God has called me in Christ Jesus.
From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.”
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of your opportunity. Let your speech always be gracious and seasoned with wisdom, so that you will know how to respond properly to all.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.Then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires.
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.”
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.And my God will fully supply all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”Then Jesus said to those Jews who did believe in him, “If you remain faithful to my word, you will truly be my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
