John 14;14 (2/4)

When the Advocate comes whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, he will testify on my behalf. When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me.
Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth: it is better for you that I depart. For if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, whereas if I go, I will send him to you.But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment.
Until now, in my name, you have not asked for anything. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.
I came from the Father and have come into the world. Now I am leaving the world and returning to the Father.I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.
I have told you this so that in me you may be in peace. In the world you will endure suffering. But take courage! I have overcome the world. These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.
And eternal life is this: to know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent, Jesus Christ. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I do ask you to protect them from the evil one.I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from the evil one.
Father, allow those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they may behold my glory, which you have bestowed on me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
I have made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them. And I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
Then the other disciple who had reached the tomb first also went inside, and he saw and believed. They still did not understand the Scripture indicating that he must rise from the dead.So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb also entered then, and he saw and believed. For they did not yet understand the Scripture, that He must rise from the dead.
Jesus then said to her, “Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’ ”
“Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
Then Jesus said to him, “You have come to believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Through him all things came into existence, and without him there was nothing. That which came to be.All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has been unable to overcome it.And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not grasp it.
However, to those who did accept him and who believed in his name he granted the power to become children of God.But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. And we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
No one has ever seen God. It is the only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, who has made him known. No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.
I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The one on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest is the one who is to baptize with the Holy Spirit.’And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’
Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.”Jesus responded and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.”Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may attain eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

O God, you are my God,
for whom I have been searching earnestly.
My soul yearns for you
and my body thirsts for you,
like the earth when it is parched,
