| By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. | By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. |

| My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? | In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. |
| Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” | Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” |
| If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. | If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him. |

| If you love me, keep my commands. | If you love Me, keep My commandments. |
| And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. | And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever. |
| I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. | I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. |
| Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them. | He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. |
| Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” | Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” |
| But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. | But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. |

| I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. | I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. |
