- So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

In the night his song shall be with me:
a prayer to the God of my life. - For so has the Lord commanded us, saying,

that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’ - Yahweh’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart.
Yahweh’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. - Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good,
for his loving kindness endures forever. - But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end.

In your presence is fullness of joy.
In your right hand there are pleasures forever more. - For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.

- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears open to their prayer;
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright,
but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity. - If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.
- Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
- Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
- Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
- He sat down and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”
- And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
- Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.
- For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
- To do righteousness and justice
is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice. - The prospect of the righteous is joy,
but the hope of the wicked will perish. - He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
- For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
