Beloved, do not trust every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1	Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. In love there is no fear; indeed, perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not yet achieved perfection in love. 1 John 4:18	Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. Like a city that has been breached and made defenseless is the man devoid of self-control. Proverbs 25:28	A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls. self-control desires
Exalted at God’s right hand, he received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. But when the disciples saw him walking on the water they thought it was a ghost and they cried out, for they all had seen him and were terrified. I urge you, brethren, to watch out for those who incite dissensions and obstacles in opposition to the teaching that you have learned. Take care to avoid them.

And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.
