| Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! | If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. | Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. | Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. |

| Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. | Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. |
| Do not forsake your friend and your father's friend, and do not go to your brother's house in the day of your calamity. Better is a neighbor who is near than a brother who is far away. | Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off. |
| In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? | In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. |
| For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.” | For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. |
