And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
Adulterers! Do you not know that love of the world results in enmity with God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a lover of the world makes himself an enemy of God.Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Whoever possesses the Son possesses life; whoever does not possess the Son of God does not possess life.He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself; thus my lips will speak your praise. I will bless you all my life; with uplifted hands I will call on your name.Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

Though he was in the form of God, he did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped. Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. Being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even death on a cross.Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

But God is rich in his mercy, and because he had such great love for us, he brought us to life with Christ when we were already dead through sin—it is by grace that you have been saved.But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
Guard your heart with all possible vigilance, for from it flow the wellsprings of life.Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the sake of the gospel will save it.For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.

And eternal life is this: to know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent, Jesus Christ.And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

The reward of humility and fear of the Lord is wealth, honor, and life.By humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches and honor and life.

No one can have greater love than to lay down his life for his friends.Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
