And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?
He said to them, “But who do you yourselves say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
But He answered and said, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God.’ ”But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
Now John himself had a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
But Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Now go and learn what this means: ‘I desire compassion, rather than sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
And when you are praying, do not use thoughtless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard because of their many words.And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
Now if your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother.Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.’In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished!For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, he is to be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant, and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave.Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave.
Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
