Now go and learn what this means: ‘I desire compassion, rather than sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:26	For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? materialism life soul
This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14	And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. evangelism end times kingdom
And when you are praying, do not use thoughtless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Matthew 6:7	And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. speaking prayer thoughts
Now if your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother. Matthew 18:15	Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. sin speaking listening
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished! Jesus said to him, “If you want to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” Matthew 19:21	Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” blameless giving materialism
And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, he is to be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant, and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave. Matthew 20:26-27	Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they? Matthew 6:26	Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? valuable trust Father

But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
