| I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. | Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? | The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? |

| You shall keep my Sabbaths, and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am Yahweh. | Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord. |
| For even though the fig tree doesn’t flourish, nor fruit be in the vines, the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food, the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in Yahweh. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! | Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. |

| I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. | I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. |
| Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God. | Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. |
| Listen, my son, and receive my sayings. The years of your life will be many. | Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. |
| I spread out my hands to you. My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah. | I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. |
| But as for me, I will look to Yahweh. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. | Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. |
| God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water. | O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is. |

| My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.” | O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee. |
| Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you. So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name. | Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. |
| My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for they will add to you length of days, years of life, and peace. | My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. |
| Hear my prayer, Yahweh. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me. | Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. |
