| I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. | Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. |
| When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. | If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. |

All my guilt is gone. | Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. |
| You must keep my Sabbath days of rest and show reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord. | Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord. |
| The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? | The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? |
| Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart’s delight. | Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart. |
| You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh. | All my longings lie open before you, Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you. |
| But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. | But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. |
| You are my rock and my fortress. For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger. | Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me. |
| If you love me, obey my commandments. | If you love me, keep my commands. |
| When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. | This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. |
| But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive! | Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me. |
| “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” | “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. |
| I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! | I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. |
| Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my plea! Answer me because you are faithful and righteous. | Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief. |
| I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” | I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” |

My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. | You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. |
| So Jesus told them, “My message is not my own; it comes from God who sent me.” | Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.” |
