As long as I remained silent, my body wasted away as the result of my groaning throughout the day.When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me.But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
You are truly my rock and my fortress; for the sake of your name, lead and guide me.Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
The Lord is my portion, I say to myself; therefore, I will place my hope in him.I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”

When my anxious thoughts multiplied, your comfort filled my soul with joy.When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.
But you, O Lord, are a shield to protect me; you are my glory and the one who raises my head high.But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments.If you love me, keep my commands.
Your statutes are my everlasting heritage; they are the very joy of my heart.Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
