I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message. John 13:16	Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither is one who is sent greater than he who sent him. serving humility slavery
Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord your God has commanded you. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your oxen and donkeys and other livestock, and any foreigners living among you. A newly married man must not be drafted into the army or be given any other official responsibilities. He must be free to spend one year at home, bringing happiness to the wife he has married. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. Yes, I am confirming my covenant with you. Never again will floodwaters kill all living creatures; never again will a flood destroy the earth. Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions. 1 John 3:18	My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth. honesty truth speaking
Remember, you must not make any idols of silver or gold to rival me. Exodus 20:23	You shall most certainly not make gods of silver or gods of gold for yourselves to be alongside me. law idols money
Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them. Proverbs 4:5	Get wisdom. Get understanding. Don’t forget, and don’t deviate from the words of my mouth. wisdom understanding Word of God
The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. Luke 12:2	But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. truth honesty
Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come. Matthew 12:32	Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in that which is to come. No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. 1 Samuel 2:2	There is no one as holy as Yahweh, for there is no one besides you, nor is there any rock like our God. God holiness worship
And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. Ephesians 4:26-27	“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil. sin anger evil
And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. James 1:13	Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. temptation desires understanding
There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12	There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! salvation Jesus
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 1 John 2:15	Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him. sin love Father
I have not departed from his commands, but have treasured his words more than daily food. Job 23:12	I haven’t gone back from the commandment of his lips. I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. law speaking obedience
Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. James 1:17	Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow. reliability Father blameless

That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing.

Don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
