Proverbs 3:5 (5/6)

It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, And afterward to reconsider his vows.It is a snare to say rashly, “It is holy,” and to reflect only after making vows.

A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.One's pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.
The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.
Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches— Feed me with the food allotted to me.Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me.
