Chinese (traditional)- Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
- Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
- And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.Next verse! With image
