When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your wicked ways.To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where will I receive help? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for all of us. How then can he fail also to give us everything else along with him?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
A gentle reply turns away wrath, but a harsh word arouses anger.A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.
Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed and broke them and gave them to the disciples to distribute among the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Then they gathered up what was left over—twelve baskets of fragments.Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
Do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where they will be destroyed by moth and rust and where thieves break in and steal. Rather, store up treasure for yourselves in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves cannot break in and steal.Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time.And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
And opens the eyes of those who cannot see. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord raises those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.
How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people.Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!
While he was departing as they gazed upward toward the sky, suddenly two men dressed in white robes stood beside them, and they said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking up into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a sacrificial offering whose fragrance is pleasing to God.And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
The Lord said to Moses, “Climb up to me on the mountain and remain there. I will give you stone tablets with the laws and commandments that I have written for their instruction.”Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and the scrolls were opened. Then another scroll was opened, the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their deeds, as were recorded in the scrolls. The sea gave up all the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
But whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty. The water that I will give him will become a spring of water within him welling up to eternal life.But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.
He reserves his wisdom for the upright and is a shield to those who lead blameless lives.He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly.
Therefore, encourage one another and strengthen one another, as indeed you are doing.Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he humbles and he also exalts.The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up.
For the entire Law can be summed up in a single commandment: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
However, you, dear friends, must build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God as you await our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy, who will grant you eternal life.But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
As servants of God, behave as free people, but do not use your freedom as a means to cover up wrongdoing.As free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her in order to sanctify her by cleansing her with water and the word.Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.
