Bible Verses about 'Romans 12'

I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.
For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. For just as we have many parts in one body and all the body’s parts do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another.
Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good.Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor.Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor.

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not claim to be wiser than you are.Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave room for the wrath of God; for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written: “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities; for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God.Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
For the same reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, busy with this very thing. For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.Pay to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor.
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Who are you to pass judgment on servants of another? It is before their own lord that they stand or fall. And they will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make them stand.Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
Some judge one day to be better than another, while others judge all days to be alike. Let all be fully convinced in their own minds. One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.
