For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.For just as we have many parts in one body and all the body’s parts do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor prefer one another.Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor.
Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.Not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
Rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer.Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.
Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse.Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.
Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written: “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, continually doing this very thing.For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.Pay to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor.
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the Law.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions.
Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.The one who eats is not to regard with contempt the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat is not to judge the one who eats, for God has accepted him.
Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.

For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord’s.For if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
