For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness.For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good.
My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.My son, do not forget my teaching, But have your heart comply with my commandments; For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you.
He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver; Nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity.One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility.
