I assert nothing more than what the Prophets and Moses said would occur: that the Christ must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light to the people and to the Gentiles. | Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. |
| The time of fulfillment has arrived, and the kingdom of God is close at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel. | The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. |
