| Therefore Jesus said, “For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.” | Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. |
| But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts. | But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. |

| Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? | Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? |
| The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. | And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. |
| God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. | God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. |
| But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. | But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. |
| For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. | For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. |
| And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” | But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. |

| Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. | When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. |
| Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.” | And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. |
| And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus as the Christ. | And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. |

| Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.” | Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. |
| But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. | But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. |
| The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. |
| Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” | Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. |
| For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love. | For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. |
| All these were continually devoting themselves with one mind to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. | These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. |
