You must not exploit a widow or an orphan. If you exploit them in any way and they cry out to me, then I will certainly hear their cry. Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly. Psalm 112:5	A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion. generosity mercy honesty
But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers. 1 Timothy 5:8	But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. family relationships children
I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds. And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers. 1 John 4:21	And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. law love friendship
I will bless my people and their homes around my holy hill. And in the proper season I will send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessing. Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign Lord. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live. The rich can pay a ransom for their lives, but the poor won’t even get threatened. Proverbs 13:8	The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, But the poor does not hear rebuke. money materialism fear

So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. Hebrews 4:9-10	There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. sabbath rest work
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Psalm 37:7	Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. honesty life patience
For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10	For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. money evil greed
Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. Ecclesiastes 5:18	Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. food work life

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. James 1:26	If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. speaking

All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.
